How we collect, use, and protect your information.

This Privacy Policy describes how Vig Solutions LLC (“Vig,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), the operator of the Vig.Dev product line, collects, uses, and shares information when you visit this website, submit information through our forms, or use a client workspace.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly to us, including:

  • Contact information: name, email address, and phone number when you fill out our contact or audit forms
  • Website URL: if provided for a free audit request
  • Message content: any text you submit through our contact forms
  • Workspace access: your email address, password hash, membership, authentication and session records
  • Service records: agreements and signatures, onboarding details, uploaded assets, requests and delivery updates
  • Billing records: Stripe customer and subscription references, invoice amounts, status and invoice links. Payment details are entered through Stripe.
  • Usage data: marketing-page visits and performance measurements. Private portal pages are excluded from marketing analytics.
  • Proposal engagement: when an authenticated client opens a proposal, approximate active viewing time and document scroll progress. Workspace admins can see recent proposal visits and the member email when the visitor signed in with an individual account. Shared passcode visits are not attributed to a person.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to your inquiries and deliver the services you request (including free audits)
  • Communicate with you about potential projects, proposals, and follow-ups
  • Improve our website and services based on usage patterns
  • Authenticate workspace access, deliver contracted work, synchronize billing and send service emails
  • Comply with legal obligations

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.

3. Text Messages (SMS)

Vig sends automated call-summary text messages to staff of client organizations who have opted in to receive them. We collect the mobile number and opt-in record needed to deliver these messages and to honor opt-out requests. You can reply STOP at any time to stop receiving messages, or HELP for help.

We do not sell or share your mobile numbers or SMS opt-in data with third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Data Storage and Security

We use access controls and third-party hosting and storage services, including Vercel and Convex, to help protect information. No method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your data.

5. Cookies and Tracking

We use session cookies for workspace access and analytics on marketing pages. Proposal engagement is recorded in our private application data for client follow-up; it does not send private portal routes or authentication links to marketing analytics. We do not collect IP addresses for this proposal engagement report. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though some parts of the site may not function properly as a result.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction or deletion of your data
  • Object to or restrict certain types of processing
  • Withdraw consent at any time (where consent is our legal basis for processing)

7. Third-Party Services

We use Vercel for hosting and marketing analytics, Convex for application data and private file storage, Stripe for payments and invoicing, and Resend for transactional email delivery. Some features are assisted by AI and run only when you choose to use them: answers at the front desk on our homepage, and in a client workspace, plain-language answers about a proposal and drafts of requests. When you use one of these, the text you enter and the content needed to answer it (our published pages, or the proposal you are asking about) are sent to OpenAI to produce the response. These providers process information needed to provide those services and have their own privacy practices.

8. Children's Privacy

Our services are not directed to individuals under the age of 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date.
